Bryce Canyon, Utah
I had never heard of "hoodoos" until this visit to this glorious place where the scenery is both hair-raising from above and below. The immensity of the rock formations can only be more appreciated by hiking the trails that take you deep inside the canyon. Just make sure you're physically fit to endure the exhausting climb back to the top!
